How do I return something I have purchased?

Each shipment includes an Authorized Return Shipment (ARS) tag and return instructions. If you need additional help, call 1-800-mcworld to get a return authorization number. You have 30 days from the time you received an item to return it, and all returns must be shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS).

Once I have returned something, when will my credit card account be credited?

Your credit card account will be updated as soon as it is possible to make a final determination of the amount of the credit you will receive. This should not take longer than two days after the returned item has been received and processed.

Who pays for shipping a returned item back to you?

If the item returned was not the item you ordered or was factory-defective, we will issue a full refund to your credit card including both the original and the return shipping charges. If the item returned was the item you ordered and was not factory-defective, your credit card account will be credited for the cost of the item, but not for either the original or the return shipping charges. Items returned in abused condition or in non-original packaging may be subject to restocking charges of from 20 to 50%.

Are there any items for which either full or partial refunds will not be issued?

Yes.. Refunds cannot be issued on certain items even if you return them. These items are clearly identified in the online catalog. They include, but are not limited to things such as closeout merchandise and hazardous materials.

Can I exchange an item?
